Streets of Love, Pt. 1

weyvir is a Calcutta-born, Madrid-based singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer working in the space between alt-rock and magnetic pop.

The songs pull from everywhere: “just gotta let u know” folds bossa nova into grunge, pop punk and UK garage; “Streets of Love, Pt. 1”, first written in high school almost a decade ago, goes for big pop-rock melody with the emotional honesty left in.

weyvir came up through the DIY circuit around Syracuse University before settling in Madrid, has shared stages with Rebecca Black and played alongside Picture Us Tiny, and also fronts the rock band Hard Fuse on vocals and bass.

The solo releases have passed 25,000 streams, collaborations have gone past a million, and “Streets of Love, Pt. 1” has been picked up by 42 radio stations across 20 countries.
